Community Service

Each NCL, Inc. Chapter promotes social awareness by considering the local community’s needs and selecting appropriate non-profit organizations to serve.  Each Chapter then supports its philanthropic service partners through different volunteer activities.

The Colorado Foothills Chapter has assessed our community’s needs into six different focus areas. These areas include: disadvantaged families; senior citizens; special needs; education; land conservation; and the local arts community.

Philanthropies supported by our Colorado Foothills Chapter include: Center for the Arts Evergreen; DriveSmart; EAS+Y; Evergreen Christian Outreach; EPRD Special Needs Program; Evergreen Downtown Business Association; Evergreen Players; Mountain Area Land Trust; Mt. Evans Hospice; Operation Homefront; Seeds of Hope; and Seniors Resource Center, Evergreen Animal Protection League, Evergreen Chorale, Jefferson County School Foundation and Mountain Backpacks Program.

To date, we have provided over 14,800 hours of volunteer time to these organizations.
